Half day tour to ancient Thera (max. 4 hrs)

The guests meet bus and guide at hotel and leave for ancient Thera; the city with its now days fascinating ruins, was built at a picturesque settlement at the top of a high rocky mountain called ‘’Mesa Vouno’’. Upon arrival at Kamari and on the slopes of the mountain you will meet your special transportation (mini bus) where you will embark and be driven on the top of the ancient city. The excavations uncover the ruins of ancient buildings, sanctuaries and temples, inscriptions and carved stones of Archaic Period and also the ancient theatre situated in an excellent location with panoramic view to the Aegean Sea. Marvel the excellent view by capturing it with your photo camera and then head to Kamari and embark on your bus for your return back to hotel filled with impressions.
